Often in the course of a project, the macro items steal the focus and attention of the artisan and even the client as well. Micro items however are where you find the difference between the DIY-ers/weekend warriors and the professionals. Beyond the proper tools, efficiency, or experience, these details are what truly make all the difference.
That being said, the professional is often prone to this as well, myself included. Taking the time at different points in a project and especially near the end are critical to simply step back and assess where we can attend to those details. Catching those make all the difference!
